update tablea set fielda =' james'ste Camp 'first,'sec' '
update tablea set fielda =' james''ste Camp ''first,''sec'' ';
Just use 2 single quotes

It's in the documentation. Start with the concepts manual, then SQL*Plus manual and SQL reference. I'm sure that you'll run across the answer because that's where I have found the answer to the very same question.
