Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Unix- How to remove the first few lines(N) in a file without opening a file manually?
Hi List,
I want to remove the first 5 lines of the text from unix text file. Is there a command to do it without opening a file manually? (I don't want to use (DD command)
For example,
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sssssssssssssssss eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Any help would be really appreciated.
TIA
Sami
