Hello list I am using Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 enterprise on windows.
When I run the following ( connected as sysdba , and using an spfile called %oracle_home%\database\spfilelahiri.ora )
SQL> show user
USER is "SYS"
SQL> host echo %oracle_sid%
LAHIRI
SQL> sho parameter db_name
NAME TYPE VALUE db_name string lahiri
SQL> ALTER SYSTEM RESET undo_suppress_errors SCOPE=BOTH SID='lahiri';
ALTER SYSTEM RESET undo_suppress_errors SCOPE=BOTH SID='lahiri'
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-32010: cannot find entry to delete in SPFILE
Any ideas ? I get the same problem irrespective of the parameter I try to
reset.
