For what it's worth, Peter invited me to another of Chris Date's talks earlier this year - and it was WELL WORTH the trip. Chris is a very good speaker.. The last talk was almost the same as this one - Foundation Matters, and a little on The Third Manifesto. Dropping ACID is a new one though.

I wonder what my time will be like around then? ;)
