Lately I've found that going to http://www.google.com, then searching for oracle-l and the terms I'm interested in pulls up hits from http://www.faqchest.com that will give you great results. You can go to faqchest directly but they suggest hitting Google first. <tirade>
Of course by this time next year we'll be saying Microsoft IE Search function because MS has announced that Google is next on their hit list. </tirade>
