If the remote table uses object types, you will have trouble updating it from your local procedure.

One of or developers is work on a routine that will trigger a procedure that will use a dblink to update a table on another database. It seems like I remember that something about a problem with procedures, dblinks, updates? Does anyone remember anything about that?
