Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> How to use SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE in ProC?
Hi,
I have a problem with using oracle built in stored procedures in embadded C. It is impossible to compile my program by ProC. It says:
sys.dbms_alert.remove( 'prolan_alert' );
..........1
PLS-S-00201, identifier 'SYS.DBMS_ALERT' must be declared
sys.dbms_alert.remove( 'prolan_alert' );
..........1
PLS-S-00000, Statement ignored
Semantic error at line 118, column 5, file reg_alert.pc:
BEGIN
....1
PCC-S-02346, PL/SQL found semantic errors
SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Value of payroll: ');
..........1
PLS-S-00201, identifier 'SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT' must be declared
SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Value of payroll: ');
..........1
PLS-S-00000, Statement ignored
I can use these functions in sqlplus, but ProC produces this error message. Should I declare packages I want to use? How can I do it?
Thanks a lot,
Gyuri
