RE: Example to populate the dimensional tables

Well, you must load the dimension tables before the fact tables. Just beware of the precedence.

Usually you cleansed the data and put it in a staging table that is identical to the target table, then you do load the target table.

In my experiences we were not loading the time dimension, we initialise it for some years and that was it.
