Here's the view definition for DBA_OBJECTS in 9i R2.

It would seem to suggest that there is no object type# 10.

Can anyone tell me in which fine manual I find what the types equate to in obj$

I want to know what a type 10 object is:

select obj#,name,type# from obj$ where obj#=288484;
