No No. THOSE guys did replication. Then the worst of the bunch worked in conjunction with the authors of graduate Math texts to come up with Advanced Queuing.

I have tried to automate various things with OEM jobs and events and eventually decided that at and dbms_job worked perfectly adequately. bearing in mind that DBMS_JOB is - I'm pretty sure - designed by a bunch of sadists who have it in for Admin guys this is not a huge recommendation :(
