Haven't you seen The Matrix? The "leading edge PC" can be a virtual PC
emulated on an IBM AIX machine. The floppy disk will be a virtual floppy
disk emulated on a USB keychain disk drive. etc.
(Aside: how many of the posters on the list are actually software
constructs? Come on, be honest.)
