RE: Why Was IOUG Attendance So Low?

This is the first one I missed since 1998. I couldn't go because I just started a new job the 19th of March and am in the middle of moving from Nashville to Knoxville. I plan to attend the one in Toronto though.

I know our company had an across-the-board budget cut this year. Their "suggestion" was to start by cutting from conferences and travel.

I'm sure we're not the only ones tightening the belt. And "luxuries" such
as conferences and even training in general are usually the first to go.
