Hi Ashish,
DBMS_REPAIR packagein 9i is good enough to check for block corruptions. If you want to still testit out, just create one small db and edit the datafile and insert a "char" and save it, but this method will not usefull in NT, in unix you can test it out.

Hello all,
I wanted to test recovery procedure for data block corruption using
DBMS_REPAIR package.
To test this I need a database object with a corrupt block. How can I
corrupt a data block in
a table?
TIA
Ashish
