Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: NT4 to W2000
Um we've done this n times (where n > 10). Don't upgrade the OS. Remove
the old one and re-install. IMP/EXP or backup/recovery are fine as
migration strategies for Oracle but NT4 can get stupidly fussy about
being upgraded.
The usual disclaimers (test it 3 times) apply.
