Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> TAKE 2 Re: Have your vote on Oracle Pricing issues
Tony,
The pricing questionair has some confising questions such as:
pricing preference by user or cpu. The answer can be both. Pricing by
cpu for production and pricing by user for development/test instances.
One other option that I feel is missing is " If pricing by users, what
should the minimum user number be? 5, 10, 15, 20, 25? If I understand
correctly the Oracle minimum user license is 25 users X $$$/user to
establish the cost of the license. A reseller is able to offer lesser
minimum users. We only have 3 developers so why would we need 25 users
license.
Just my thoughts.
Ron
