Dear Colleague
The Australian Oracle User Group (AUSOUG) will be conducting a series of
five conferences in Australia's capital cities during August and
September.
These conferences offer an outstanding opportunity for interested
parties to
deliver presentations to a strong audience in a key IT industry sector.
The
2002 conference series was very successful, reaching approximately 1000
attendees nationwide. AUSOUG is the key independent industry group for
Oracle-influenced organisations and professionals in this region, and
our
national conference series is the pre-eminent event on their calendar.
The 2003 series of AUSOUG conferences is themed as: "Oracle with 20:20 Foresight: Anticipate - Collaborate - Integrate"
Although the markets and the media like to suggest otherwise, there are
many
opportunities for IT industry leadership in 2003 and beyond. The
conference
theme highlights our community's confidence, adaptability to change, and
that it embraces new techniques and technologies to improve business
opportunities.
Four streams will be conducted -
The events committee is now calling for outlines from interested
suppliers,
users and IT professionals to present relevant papers, training and
demonstrations within these streams. Sessions should provide topical,
engaging information relevant to the Oracle-influenced professional
community. Sessions consisting largely of product marketing will be
accepted
by special arrangement only as they are often unpopular, which may not
reflect positively on the presenter. Please discuss such sessions with
us.
The five conferences will be conducted on the following dates:
QLD 19-20 Aug, Hilton Hotel, Brisbane
NSW 26-27 Aug, Star City, Sydney
VIC 2-3 Sep, Carlton Crest Hotel, Melbourne SA 10-11 Sep, Hilton Hotel, Adelaide WA 22-23 Sep, Burswood Resort, Perth
If you are interested in presenting at one or more of the above
conferences,
please complete a submission at your earliest convenience (the earlier
the
better as demand is high). Deadline for submission is 5pm Monday 30
June
2003. For further information and to submit proposals, visit
http://www.ausoug.org/2020/
Please feel free to pass this email on to anyone you think may be interested.
AUSOUG is proudly supported by its National Partners, including its
