Niall,

Linux is not an option. Linux is not a supported platform by our application vendor {We are looking at DB Server/Batch Server processing}. This is an issue because we are looking at server consolidation also. Using PeopleSoft 7.5 HRMS and associated software on Linux is out. Its also not a supported option by our server support group (we are outsourced) {at this time}.

Sometimes what is obvious - isn't. Maybe in a year or two we will be able to go that route. Just not at this time.
