Why Sonny.... If you have to use "less" you're spoiled if you ask me.
Back in my day we never needed "less". We walked to work throught 3 feet
of snow (both ways... in August...) used "more" and were happy about it
dag-nab-it. We were just happy we had more than "cat". Don't make me
come back there!! Why I oughtta...

your acting like an old bsd type. less ships on most current unix like machines these days and is much more functional than more. I get laughed at by the young guys around here when I use more.
