  I disagree with the no ROI statement. I payed my own way 2 years age and it was the best investment I have made in a long time. The information received is invaluable and the networking is superb. It is always worth the time and money (if you can afford it) to get together with fellow users and meld your minds for a common cause.  I made the expenses a lot less by staying off-site at a national chain motel and I still participated in all of the sessions and events.  I only wish that my company would fund out-of-state meetings and events so I could attend again this year. There are a lot of Oracle and database changes in the wind that are discussed at the meetings that can help guide the future of your job.
 Expenses are tight this year and I can't afford to pay myself so I will have to be content with the white paper once they are posted. Ron
