Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Long Raw to BLOB
Easily accomplished via the to_lob function.
Check the docs for details.
There are likely examples available on asktom.oracle.com

Please respond to ORACLE-L
To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L <ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com> cc: Subject: Long Raw to BLOB
Hi list,
Environment :Oracle 8.1.7 & Forms 5 in Win 2000.
Issue :Have a long raw column, which stores images of (.tif). Using this as forms 5 don't support BLOB. But in a situation for the web pages need this in BLOB. Is there any way out to do this conversion in the back end.
Any tips/tricks,
Muths
