Yes,

We have set tit as such, per recommendation of the Sun Engineer. Initially it was unset; we did run benchmarks before and after setting it to setall; frankly, I didn't notice significant performance improvements.

Some relevant stats: Sun 15000, 16 CPUs with 32 GB RAM, Hitachi 9900 SAN, Solaris 2.8, Veritas File System, Oracle 8.1.7.4, 1200 GB OLTP database with 6 GB SGA.
