Roland,
It took me exactly 12 seconds to find out exactly how to do this from the documentation. This was simply by clicking on 'CREATE SEQUENCE' in the SQL Reference manual.
I strongly suggest you learn to use and read the documentation.

To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L <ORACLE-L_at_fatcity.com> cc: Subject: What is wrong with this?
Hallo,
I have this sequence,
CREATE SEQUENCE SYS_STORE_ID
START WITH 1
INCREMENT BY 1
NOMAXVALUE
NOCYCLE
CACHE 10;
I am trying to run this script,
sys_store_id.nextval:
but get this errormessage:
unknown command beginning "SYS_STORE_..." - rest of line ignored.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance
Roland
