Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: What is wrong with this?
You should:
select sys_store_id.nextval from dual;
or similar to get a value from sequence.
Br.Jorma
Hallo,
I have this sequence,
CREATE SEQUENCE SYS_STORE_ID
START WITH 1
INCREMENT BY 1
NOMAXVALUE
NOCYCLE
CACHE 10;
I am trying to run this script,
sys_store_id.nextval:
but get this errormessage:
unknown command beginning "SYS_STORE_..." - rest of line ignored.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance
Roland
