We are upgrading to 8.1.7.4. There are many databases and my DBA college who is in charge of the RMAN Database that is currently 8.1.6. tells me that it is no problem that RMAN (Seperate database by the way) is in 8.1.6 and the Target is in 8.1.7.4. As RMAN is hot topic right now and before I go RTFM can anybody verify this or advise
thanks
Sam
