Oracle-L: RE: ORA-00106

Use a dedicated connection to stop/start a database. Connection via MTS (Shared Server) does not allow such tasks.

I try to shutdown my database via Oracle Instance Manager but I get ORA-10106 error.
Could someone on the list help me how to solve it.
