That ought to sum it up. S.L.O.W. Our little 28GB DB takes 14 hours to fully restore to the AutoRAID. And we've done the tuning. Granted, it's a bit stressed since we're using some of the 0+1 area, but it's still way too slow. We don't even have the redos on the AutoRAID, and we still take a beating. Our I/O waits are horrendous. We'll be replacing it this year.
