Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Oracle 9i on windows
Joe,
I wrote Oracle9i RMAN Backup and Recovery using 9iR2. I pounded the database pretty hard. It seemed to be a very solid release and I would recommend it over 9iR1.

We are thinking of upgrading some of our windows databases (NT 4) to 9i. We may be upgrading the OS to w2k also. The databases are small applications and don't require much maintenance.
What are people's experience with 9i (9.0.1 and 9.2) on windows? We are mostly concerned with the stability of the releases. I have heard that 9.0.1 has lots of bugs. Does anyone know if this is true? What about 9.2?
Thanks.
