Just wanted to point out that "silent install" is not a solution if you
lack X-windows connectivity to a server.
While you will no longer receive GUI images and prompting, you must still
have an X-windows interface or the "runInstaller" executable WILL NOT WORK.
I spent alot of time looking into silent install as a workaround due to
lack of connectivity via X-windows to servers on a client network.
It simply cannot be done. This is buried deep in oracle's documentation,
but I had it verified via a TAR.
