Moving tables from one tablespace to another tablespace

Hi

I need to move some tables from one tablespace to another. I started doing it using

alter table tablename move tablespace new_tablespace;

this is working fine!!. My problem is it's not working with the table which are having long columns.

I know work arround for this exp.. drop and create .. then imp.

There is any other way round for this..
