As I've posted before, we had major show-stoppers with OID 9.0.1 Replication under RH7.1 Linux. I think you had said before about using 9.2, but under what platform?
Stephen, from what I recall, there may not be a whole lot you need to design
for the LDAP tree if you are only using OID for Oracle Names Resolution.
For our smallish company with <40 instances (test and production) and only
one Oracle Networking domain, all DB network aliases existed in the same
branch. For larger implementations, this may be different. You could
create more than the default "Oracle Context" -- NOT to be confused with
Context indexes -- in OID. You'll want to read more on this in the docs.
