Oracle-L: Deleting some or all the child records from the child tables and

Hi List,

How do I delete all/few lower level records based on the column value of the parent table through SQL or Pl/SQl? If so, could you please send me the SQL queries for the same?

Please note that I cannot enforce the 'ON DELETE CASCADE' rule on the foreign key constraints. Any help in this regard is very much appreciated.
