Didn't I just complete quite a number of emails on this very issue? I hoped those resolved it.

Anyway, the assistant can't start the database; so it can't determine the datafiles that made up the database. You would say Yes to delete the service anyway and look for the datafiles yourself, probably in \orant\oradata folder or some other folder which might be obtained from the creation logs of the database, or the alert log.
