You're saving all my fly-fishing emails, right?
Man, I wish I was popular.

Rachel,
As I told Ian, this isn't an effort to run a popularity poll. I have an URGENT need to quickly cull down 20,000 messages to a reasonable number and store them on CD. I needed some criteria and this seemed the most logical. This newsgroup is a great resource, and I should hate to loose the most of it.

Robert,
As others have pointed out, this can be dangerous!
Right now my inbox has about 700+ messages saved from lots of posters, I'd save more but Yahoo has a 6MB limit and I haven't had time to archive off messages... anything that I think might be useful, regardless of the poster. I try to read most messages however on days when I am pressed for time, I do delete a bunch but make sure I read anything by the following (yes, it's more than 10) because I KNOW I will learn.
And for those of you who included me in your lists, thank you but I have only one thing to say. WHY??
Please note the list is in alphabetical order, so as not to anger any of *my* Oracle Gods!
Kirti Deshpande
Larry Elkins (I don't always understand his posts but I read and save
them because I learn!)
Stephane Faroult
Dan Fink
Robert Freeman
Tim Gorman
John Kanagaraj
Anjo Kolk
Jonathan Lewis (he doesn't post often enough!)
Connor McDonald
Cary Millsap
Jared Still
Jeramiah Wilton
and those I miss: Steve Adams, Mogens Norgaard, Gaja Krishna Vaidyanatha
any and all omissions are due entirely to the fact that it is WAY past my bedtime :)
Thank you all for teaching me!
