Slow down when working with msdaora

Hello all

We have a VB application that works with oledb supplied by Microsoft, msdaora. We noticed that a batch program is working very slowly. We changed the program to work with Oracle oledb and it run much faster. However we can not use Oracle oledb due to problems with Hebrew.

Anyone can offer help, suggestions, work around etc...
