How's about application vendors that can't keep up the pace of new Oracle
releases, but Oracle Support won't support the old versions? What's the
*CUSTOMER* supposed to do???
The "new" version of Cognos' PowerHouse that we're looking at, which is tied to a newer version of our third-party ERP system, officially was tested with Oracle *7*. Yay. If it doesn't do 9iR2, does it do us any good to spend 9 months "upgrading"???
<sigh> At least it'll be 65F this weekend so I can leave my DBs alone an go rake leaves. :)
