Store/Retrieve files > 4 gigabytes using BLOBs

hi all

I have a BLOB column in my table and the Maximum size of data we can store in a BLOB column is 4 gigabytes.
but i have a requirement where we might have to store files > 4 gigabytes and then retrieve/Show them.
any ideas? previous experiences? or web links which can help me .
