Sorry - Out of question ! - Regarding FTP

FTP question ?

I have a set of html files in my machine.I want to configure FTP in my machine(winXP pro) ,

To be more in clear....................

1.) i have to host a website in my machine so that it should be configured as a weberver using FTP.

Then if any one logs in as the name configured in FTP, then they should be able to see my HTML pages....

Can anyone tell me the process for doing it ??

(or)

i want to fully use the FTP , atleast for that can anyone give me the steps to play in FTP ??
