Some severe rustiness here on this topic; but the mists of time have me thinking that Oracle is looking for the file that contains the text for messages it wants to display, and in your case, it can't find the file. I used to know what file this was and where it was located; but would have to look it up now.

This COPY script failure occurred when running in SQL*Plus on Windows NT. In SQL*Plus on (Unix) database server, runs just fine, so immediate problem solved.

Shouldn't it work from PC, though?
