Please do so ! Later versions of Oracle have this already enabled by default I believe. Depending on the delay, the savings/improvements can be great ! First set tcp.nodelay = true, then worry about the SDU/TDU settings. The thing to remember here is that the server and the client need to have the same setting (like with tcp.nodelay). SDU/TDU can be set to 4K as a good start.
