In dates, a single day = 1.

Thus

sysdate + 1 = same time tomorrow
sysdate + 7 = same time next week
sysdate + 1/24  = one hour from now
sysdate + 1/24/60 = one minute from now
sysdate + 1/24/60/60 = one second from now

etc
etc

You can also use trunc and round
