Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Unable to Drop Package
Looks like it's data dictionary issue... I think that there are entries in
dependency$ that will need to be cleaned up... Talk to support and mention
Notes 47424.1 and 1015751.102 (there are references to this on metalink but
I can't find the notes)... They should be able to help you clean it up...

Hi Everybody,
I have created two Package
Pkg1 and Pkg2
Inside Pkg1, I have defined PL/SQL Table Data Type
Type Pkg1_DataType IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(10) INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER; Inside Pkg2, I have defined Type Type Pkg2_DataType IS TABLE OF VARCHAR2(10) INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER; Now I am referring Pkg2_DataType in Pkg1 and Pkg1_DataType in Pkg2 Some how both of package got Invalid. Now I am unable to compile or drop either of Packages. Drop Package Pkg1 Error at line 1: Ora-00600: Internal Error Code,
At least I want to drop the package, So that I can rewrite everything from scratch.
Can anybody help to resolve this problem.
Thanks Suman
