Thank you for all the help.
I agree that something is wrong and I will keep looking for it when new fires, with higher priorities, are put out.
This morning another problem occurred (luckily!!!) on that server, and the server was re-booted. So far CPU usage oscillates between 1% and 50%, and it is not oracle.exe, which utilizes it.
