Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Oracle9i upgrade exam - Recommended books/material?
Kieren,
Daniel book is quite good and written specifically for 9i OCP exam. Besides Robert's book you must buy STS test questions for practice. There is some good material(free) on
http://www.oracle-base.com/Misc/OCPCertification9i.asp.
However, as these books cannot describe everything in detail, referring oracle documents for more clarification helps.
For registering exam use 'OTN20' code for 20% discount.
HTH,
Regards
Rafiq

Kieran - I haven't read it because I am still working out the 8i OCP tests, but here is a link to a book by Robert Freeman, who participates on this list. It has been recommended by other list members in the past.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to do the OCP upgrade exam from 8i to 9i (#1Z0-030 Oracle9i New
Features for Administrators).
Could anyone recommend some good reading material on the matter?
I see the Osbourne Book (by Daniel Benjamin) got some fairly mediocre
reviews.
Your opinions would be very much appreciated,
