Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Getting view definitions
If on 9I, access the db using the new Enterprise Manager Console, go to
schema, pick the user name, and locate the view in the tree.
In the right pane you will see the view's code, and if you press compile the text will change colour at the point the error occurs. (It may already be colour coded for you when you click on the view name, not sure).

I did an import into a database and have one view that is invalid. How can
I
get the definition for the view out of database so that I can drop it and
recreate it?
Might there be any issues with just dropping and recreating it? How do
other
people handle this when then import goes well except for one view being
invalid?
