RE: How to increase maxextents of ROLLBACK segment_type?

I don't want to sound too obvious but isn't the answer in the error message ?? . RTFM time.  

As an aside, why do you need to extend your system rollback segment

SQL> connect sys

SQL> alter ROLLBACK sys.system storage (maxextents 1024); alter ROLLBACK sys.system storage (maxextents 1024)

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01902: SEGMENT keyword expected
