Naveen - When you said "Oracle Applications" I figured that I would have no
suggestions. Have you checked the listener log? You can locate it by
entering "lsnrctl status". If that contains no clues, you can also turn
listener tracing on.

I'm sorry for posting this again, but I thought maybe it skipped everyone's eye.
Every once in a while the oracle applications hang, because the listener is
taking too much CPU. Even after waiting for a long time, the Listener
process
continues to hog the processor and people cannot connect to Oracle Apps.
Any pointers on why this might be happening.
