OT: Moving to UK - what are Oracle contracts like?

Very sorry about OT post - please feel free to flame/respond to me personally.

I'm moving to the UK, and wonder what structure most contractors are employed under. I've read about IR35 (pretty much the same as the
"alienation of income" rule here is Aus). Do people work as "sole traders",
set up their own plc, work for a body shop, or some combination of the above?
