You will find the SYSTEM tablespace and a whole lot more in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/sql.bsq. This script is, at least at one time it was, run by Oracle as part of the "create database" command. I have an old posting on Google Groups from 1996 about it:
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=brian.maclean+oracle&hl=en&lr =&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&selm=4d16sn%244bp%40madison.tdsnet.com&rnum=20
I haven't messed with modifying this file since oracle v7.1.3 but it should still work. I used to play with the initial extent value for a few tables like obj$, objauth$, objpriv$, source$, and a few others.
Maybe a search on MetaLink for sql.bsq is also in order.
Let me know what happens

Dear all,
I've seen many databases with pct_increase = 50% as default on system
tablespace... Why? is there any reason?
Is it possible to define storage parameter on SYSTEM tablespace from the
begining. If so what is the possible syntax please?
Thanks,
Jonny
