If you "select user from dual" after each of these logins, you'll find that options 1 & 3 show your user as "sys" where option 2 shows your user as "system". The difference is significant 8-)

catalog
catproc
etc ..

I wonder why Connect as internal.

what is different between those 3 login

sqlplus system login, connect as internal
sqlplus system/manager login
sqlplus system login , connect system as sysdba
