Question : Is there a way to calculate how much of 'PX msg pool' is actually
used?
Subject Area : Parallel Query
Version : Oracle 8.1.7.1
Facts for your analysis :
1. _parallel_min_message_pool = 434573056 ('PX msg pool') 2. parallel_execution_message_size = 2152 3. 'Buffers HWM' from v$px_process_sysstat = 4492
So, 4492*2152 = 9666784 which is 2% of 'PX msg pool'. does it mean I am wasting 98% of my PX msg pool?
